Default Party formation Window since 20th Update

It now seems that the party formation window is fixed at a certain size no matter how many in the party.
Go solo and you have alot of space that can't be shut down to just your solo character.
Sure you can resize horizontally but not vertically.
Anyone else noticed this today? Suppose you can always turn off the party window!!!

Umm...the party window now goes to the size of the party, and if your solo it should just be yourself in the box without much room on the bottom.

LOL you dont understand what he means! Load the game the Party window is "huge" by my standards for only having my name in it.

Go into a zone solo w/out heroes or hench.

Why on Earth did they do that? Anet with another moronic improvement. Leave the Party window such that we can adjust the size while it additionally auto sizes once we change party membership. ::rollseyes

And no. I havent been on in a number of days so this is the first I heard of this "improvement".

Can we all agree that this is the STUPIDEST update Anet has ever done?

Yeah, this is nothing new.. and I think they meant to do well, but it didn't translate into a great change. I'm very picky about my party window, like I know others are.. I'm a perfectionist in having everything aligned perfectly. This has thrown everything out of whack and.. i dunno, it's not a BIG deal, but it sure can be annoying. The thought was nice, but the execution didn't come through too well.

Since anet seem insistant on fixing things that aren't broken.

WTB: Check-box to provide option to resize pary window.

If you're soloing, just remove the party window.

I hate this update! It is essentially like when they changed the Attributes Panel arrows, only they fixed that back to normal (though not for months).

My UI is designed for the party window to stretch to the bottom of the screen, thereby filling up the right edge.

I like the automatic resizing of the party window, but it's far too easy to accidentally close the 'Allies' tab, because if you click anywhere on the entire width of the party window that's in line with the word Allies, it will collapse. I think it should only collapse or expand if you click on that little +/- button on the left, rather than anywhere on that entire row.
After playing for a few hours tonight I've accidentally collapsed the window probably 8 or more times. May not sound bad, but try having it happen to you in the middle of an intense fight and see if you think the same.

EDIT: Fixed with the new update
That's odd, I went to RA the day of the update and that never happened to me, maybe it was a random bug.

Anyways, Anet fixed it, so there;s no need to say Anet is stupid or anything, it was a bug and they knew it, so they fixed it.
